Bessie Ratliff-White is an accredited performer, who specializes in spreading Christianity through a multitude of avenues. Born in Oakland, California, she now resides in Huntsville, Alabama and has studied music, education, and Bible Instructorship at Oakwood College. Her love for her faith pursued her to complete 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN and pursue her Masters Degree in Theology from Southern California Graduate School of Theology. She has since worked for over 50 years doing Bible Work for conferences and churches nationwide while being a former minister’s wife for 29 years. Bessie truly loves spreading her faith and the Bible.
In addition to her extensive background in Bible Work, she has worked as a highly demanded educational consultant for the Cleveland, Ohio Board of Education and is a former literature evangelist. She now works as a dramatic performer, doing voice work, motivational speaking, workshop presentations, mezzo soprano soloist and cellist work, and composing music in addition to being a Water Aerobics Instructor.
Moving further into her career of spreading the word of the Bible, she has begun writing to further spread the Bible to all ages. As the President and CEO of Bessong & Ministries, Inc. a nonprofit charitable organization with 501-C3 status, she continues to publish a multitude of manuscripts and books that emphasize the Bible.
She has written children’s bible lessons, formerly published by the General Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventists and now published by Teach Service, Inc for 38 years, once being on the Best Seller’s List. She also has experience in being a children’s radio host for Huntsville WJOU 90.1 FM.
Bessie strives to inform all of the word of the Bible. In addition to her written works for children and adults, and music lessons, she offers audio books, Ebooks, single songs for Children and Adults with and without accompaniment tracks (digital downloads), a 45 minute Water Aerobics Routine (digital download), swimwear for men and women, swim accessories, health products, and speaking workshops.
Her latest written work, Bessie’s Angel Dog, is the perfect book for all children to learn overcoming fears, and trusting in God when facing new challenges.
